HOMESTEAD GRAYS NEGRO LEAGUE TEAM PHOTO This photograph is printed on a heavy card stock and there is a white edge around the entire photo. The photo measures 9 7/8 inches long by 8 inches and is in great condition with no rips or tears noted. There is minor edge wear noted with scuffing to the corners. However, there are no rips or tears noted. There is "cracking" of the silver oxide in the black areas of the photograph. I know for sure is that this is an OLD photograph and not a current reproduction you currently see on Ebay. Here is all of the history on this photo. It came out of an estate in the Youngstown Ohio area and belonged to a black gentleman that passed away in the 1960's. He had owned a local hardware store that went untouched until several years ago when it was sold at auction. He had a very large collection of these types of photos that consisted of both Major League players and also Negro League players. This photograph would make a great addition to any collection. SOLD
KC MONARCHS COLORED CHAMPIONS TEAM PHOTO This photograph is printed on a heavy card stock and there is a white edge around the entire photo. T he picture shows 13 players in uniform standing in front of a bus or trailer that states "KANSAS CITY MONARCH; WORLD'S COLORED CHAMPIONS; BASEBALL CLUB" printed on the bus. On the far left edge you can see the letter "Y" and the number "36".
