Our family is truly an American story. Rose’s father was Born in Jerusalem, and her mother was born in El Salvador. They came to this country when Rose was a teenager, and she speaks three languages fluently! Rose graduated from Nursing school in 1982 and continues to enjoy her profession as a labor and delivery RN.

My ancestors emigrated from Scotland several generations ago. I am a direct descendant of Dr. James Craik, personal physician to our first President George Washington, but don't blame me for him being bled out on his deathbed. That is how doctors rolled in those days. Some time later a branch of my family migrated to Canada looking for fertile farmland and, consequently, there is a town named Craik in Saskatchewan.  My great grandfather emigrated from Canada to Wisconsin where my father was born and raised. He is a retired army officer and now lives in San Diego. My mother’s family is of solid German Irish stock and was born and raised in Ohio, the buckeye state! Being an Army brat, I traveled all over the world until my father retired here in Southern California. I am a Certified Public Accountant, but I’m not boring on the Weekends! As a family we enjoy Disneyland, camping and going to the beach.
